Here are a few tips relating to how a man wants to be treated. We will first explore how they really need to be loved by many.  Then we will break out a few categories of relationships and discuss what types of expectations that man may have of people that may be in his life.

I feel that all humans weather male or female have a God given need to love and to be loved. Isn't that why Jesus said, “love your neighbor as you love your selves.” Also, “do unto others as you would have them do unto you,” So without a lot of explanation this concept is rather easy for us to grasp. But here's a relative question, how do you express love to a man and what are his expectations in this area of his life. That's what we hope to uncover in this article about what a man expects from those around him.

How one man wants to be treated by children may not be the same as another. There are many personality traits that effect how anyone expects to be treated.

A) With respect that he knows a few things about life. I guess I am focusing more on grown kids  relating to fathers rather than kids under the age of 5.

B) Be considerate of dads time at home. Men expect that kids will pick up after themselves and not leave little messes everywhere which lead to large messes.  They like to be kind to kids instead of always having to discipline them to clean up their mess.

C) Like the best dad in the world. He wants to be hugged, loved, talked to and held up like there is not another dad on the face of the planet like him. Fathers love it when their kids talk to them about everything and anything.

Let me just say like a king is how a man wants to be treated by a wife or girl friend. This should not be confused with the idea that he should be waited on hand and foot. Here's what I mean. Men like for women to care for them periodically and yet allow them to be self sufficient.

Here are a few examples some possible expectations men have from girlfriends or wives

1)An occasional kind gesture of fixing them a surprise plate (or, “meal”) during a social gathering perhaps while he talking to someone. This scores huge with men.
2)A general acknowledgment that you are attentive to his needs by asking him if he may want you to fix him a drink  while he is busy doing anything. Perhaps during a football game, yard work, or here again among a gather of friends or relatives.
3)A snuggle on the couch, in the car or reaching out to grab his hand as you are walking together.
4)Anytime you brag about him a little to friends or relatives this will really make him feel important to you.
5)Allow him to have some freedom with the hobbies that he enjoys doing. But at the same time if he is way out of balance you may have to express your concerns to him.

How a man wants to be treated by his children

How a man want to be treated by their wives, girlfriends or children may not be the same all across the board. Here's why and I say this bluntly, some men just are not kind. This is due to many different things in life. Here is a very true statement, hurting people hurt other people. It's not fare that women and children should have to suffer in any way but sometimes they just are not treated with the proper respect that they are due  by males. I heard one woman put it this way, men are pigs. That's an absolute statement obviously that does not apply to all males. But my point is that this article is written from the perspective that the man who desires these things is somewhat gentle and kind. A male who is the opposite displays many expectations that can have serious lasting negative effects on women and children that are in their lives.
