Should a single person get a dog?
Just imagine what life would be like if you had a snuggly little puppy who loved you so much. That's enough to answer the question “should a single person get a dog?” Yes, if you like snuggling with a pooch then by all means find the perfect puppy to fulfill your need for companionship. It's a tough life being single and coming home to an empty house is not an easy thing to do. So why not just go to the local pet store and check out some black miniature Poodles or a Shitzoo. Maybe it's not going to be that easy for you because these little fury love givers come with a rather healthy price. I suppose that a decent bread is going to start in the neighborhood of $500 from a pet store. There's always a few alternatives like the local human society or local classified ads for pets. In my time I have owned several Heinz 57 mixes and to be honest, I don't think even one of them was worth keeping. Perhaps your odds will be better.

I am sure that most single men fell pretty good about women who have dogs. I mean after all the are considered to be “mens best friends.” I believe that the saying was coined because men have a tendency to either sleep on the couch when they wife is giving them the cold shoulder or the get to sleep in the dog house. It makes sense doesn't it? Well, all joking put to the side, men usually like dogs very much. You will find that every one of them seems to have a childhood story that is filled with remorse because of a dog that vanished from their lives. Just look at some of the great movies that many men grew up with. There was Walt Disney's 101 Dalmatians, the beautiful Collie named Lassie, and that giant St. Bernard. Can't remember his name for the life of me.
How do single men feel about women with dogs?
Are women attracted to men who have dogs?
This is an interesting question since I have lived in locations where there where many dog owners. Personally. I think women are attracted to men who have dogs. I only say this because women love pets. There is one exception though, the dog must not be treated better than the girlfriend. Oh yeah, it must not be a Pit Bull, or a German Shepard either. Just kidding, usually the dog is a reflection of its owner. If a woman likes the redneck, cowboy type then perhaps a larger type dog is OK. Let's make this clear though, its not the dog that lands the girl.
A few personal thoughts about dogs or just pets in general from a singles person. I don't currently have any pets nor do I plan to be attracted to any. I watch my neighbors following their huge Great Dane around with a scoop and a bag to scoop the pooh with. I'm sorry but I have better things to do with my time than cleaning up a stinking mess. I had my share of messy diapers while raising three children. It would take a few very special women to break me of this thought process that I have about dogs. I have talked to several men about my views and the majority agree. Here's the way I see it, if you spend 20 minutes three times a day walking the dog, that's three hundred and sixty five hours a year. Which is equivalent to nine forty hour weeks of work. That;s a lot of time waisted. If I should ever decide to
